SCS Global Services Europe B.V. will also register you as an applicant to the SBP Portal, which is publicly available. SCS Global Services Europe B.V. prepares a proposal for your approval with the suggested scope of work, timeline and quote. Belangrijkste SBP-beginselen en -vereisten

Beoordeling vóór de audit
An SCS Global Services Europe B.V. auditor reviews your procedures for thoroughness and conformance before scheduling your on-site audit. For initial and re-evaluations of Biomass Producers stakeholder consultation is also conducted by SCS Global Services Europe B.V., typically in advance of the on-site audit.

Controle ter plaatse
During a site visit, an SCS Global Services Europe B.V. auditor reviews your procedures and records, including your Supply Base Evaluation (SBE) process if relevant. Additionally, the auditor tours the facilities where material is handled and interviews key staff. We look for evidence that staff members have been properly trained in their responsibilities and understand the workflow for SBP-certified materials and products.

Beoordelingsrapport
The SCS Global Services Europe B.V. auditor produces a report to present audit findings. The report is submitted to a qualified SCS Global Services Europe B.V. Technical Associate, who validates the appropriateness of the auditor's methodology and conclusions.

Certificeringsbesluit
Based on audit findings, the Technical Associate decides whether to grant certification. If granted, you will be issued a certificate valid for a five-year period. Any Major Corrective Action Requests (CARs) identified by SCS Global Services Europe B.V. must be closed prior to obtaining certification. SCS Global Services Europe B.V. can also provide client marketing support.

Evaluatie door belanghebbenden
Het Sustainable Biomass Program (SBP) vereist van certificeringsinstanties dat zij, onder bepaalde omstandigheden, belanghebbenden om commentaar vragen over de zorgvuldigheidssystemen en het leveranciersverslag/leveranciersverslag bijlage 1 van onze klanten. Waarom zou ik me laten certificeren volgens de SBP-standaard?
Certificering volgens de SBP-norm laat uw klanten weten dat uw producten voldoen aan de strenge Europese chain-of-custody-eisen voor de productie van houtachtige biomassa. Wat is de Supply Base Evaluation en wanneer is deze nodig?
De Supply Base Evaluation is het proces waarbij een Biomassaproducent grondstoffen valideert door de principes, criteria en indicatoren van de Feedstock Compliance Standard (Standaard 1) toe te passen. Het proces bestaat uit een risicobeoordeling en een leveranciersverificatieprogramma. Een SBE is niet vereist als alle grondstof een goedgekeurde Forest Management Scheme claim (FSC of PEFC), een goedgekeurde CoC System claim (FSC, PEFC, of SFI), of een goedgekeurde Controlled Feedstock System claim heeft.
Welke factoren beïnvloeden de kosten van certificering?
De kosten voor certificering variëren afhankelijk van de locatie, omvang en complexiteit van uw bedrijfsvoering. Chain-of-custody-systemen variëren van eenvoudig tot zeer complex, en er zijn aparte chain-of-custody-normen voor bedrijven met meerdere vestigingen, voor uitbestede productie en voor de verificatie van gerecyclede of niet-controversiële bronnen. Hoe lang duurt het om gecertificeerd te worden?
Bij SCS Global Services staan klantenservice en een snelle reactie voorop. Doorgaans kunnen wij onze auditors binnen 10 tot 12 weken naar uw vestiging sturen, u het auditrapport verstrekken en een besluit nemen over de certificering. Mocht u een specifieke termijn voor de certificering hebben, dan kunnen wij daar doorgaans aan tegemoetkomen.
