Door Starbucks erkende verificatie-instanties voor ethische inkoop
C.A.F.E. Practices is een inkoopprogramma voor groene koffie dat door Starbucks is ontwikkeld in samenwerking met Conservation International en SCS Global Services. Wij verzorgen trainingen, vergunningverlening en voortdurende controle voor de verificatie-instanties die de leveranciers van Starbucks controleren. Aan verificatie-instanties wordt een vergunningsstatus toegekend die bepaalt hoeveel verificaties zij op elk moment binnen het programma mogen uitvoeren:
- Status ‘Beperkte goedkeuring’: hiermee kan de organisatie slechts één verificatie tegelijk uitvoeren.
- Status ‘Voorlopige goedkeuring’: hiermee kan de verificatie-instantie slechts drie verificaties tegelijk uitvoeren.
- Status ‘Volledige goedkeuring’: hiermee kan de verificatie-instantie zoveel verificaties tegelijk uitvoeren als haar personeel en capaciteiten toelaten.
*Houd er rekening mee dat een verificatie alle werkzaamheden omvat die nodig zijn om een verificatie te voltooien, vanaf de voorbereidende activiteiten vóór het bezoek ter plaatse tot en met de indiening van de goedgekeurde klantrapporten bij Starbucks.
